... pues eso, que tengan que venir los gringos a descubrirme garnachas patrias! ... recibo unas ";Noticias"; por e-mail de una tienda de ";mi segunda casa"; alla en los USA; son unos cachondos y me gusta leerles, aunque solo les compro de vez en cuando. Bueno, pues esta viene cargaditas de garnachas patrias de esas que te hacen exclamar ";mande???"; ... os la copio-pasteo en ’pikinglis, que es muy ";late"; para traducir ... si alguien conocia algunas de esas garnachas, pues le agradeceria slgun comentario, para tener otro punto de vista ... notese que ahora el euro ya va a casi 1.3 dolares, o sea que al precio que indican hay que quitarle mas del 20% para pasarlo a euros ...

discovered Spanish Grenache? I can’t even remember – was it Merlot?
Anyway, Spanish Grenache is the phenomenon that just won’t quit. We soldover 600 cases of it last year, our largest single varietal! Dark cherry liquer and floral aromas - not the grocery store kind, either, but the really exotic ones you find in a flower shop. More of the same in the mouth, with a full, rich midpalate and a long, lingering finish scented with bittersweet chocolate.

highlight the region and a brief point of reference for the wine.

Vinos Sin-Ley G3 Garnacha 2004 - $9.99 - 90 pts Wine Advocate – Terra
Alta (Southwest of Priorat in NE Spain). Medium-bodied with no hard
edges. Hints of minerals along with ripe black raspberry and cherry fruit.

Vinos Sin-Ley ‘G2’ Old Vines Grenache 2004 - $9.49 – Montsant (NE
Spain). Medium-bodied with more hints of spice and earth than the G3.

Vinos Sin-Ley ‘G4’ Old Vines Grenache 2004 - $10.99 – Carinena (South of Rioja in Central Spain). The region is known for lighter, fruitier,
aromatic wines.

Tres Ojos Garnacha 2004 - $8.99 - Calatayud (South of Rioja in Central
Spain). The region that started this whole craze. Balanced with gobs of fruit.
