Some time ago I read this quote in a little bistrot in Edinburgh. The summer is near of its end, fortunately at least for me, because I like spring and fall.
I remember, when I was a child, waking up, early in the morning, open the window and breath deeply... and suddenly the air doesn’t smell as the summer. It can be a sunny day, but the air smells like the autumn. I love it!
Currently, a bit older, I feel the same, but in addition to this, I remember the quote that begin this thread.
Finally fall is coming and with it, the ";fall"; wines. Which are your favourite wines for fall? My favourite one is Yllera.

Ver mensaje de joseJose, for fall I would like good wines from Burgundy and Barolo (but they are difficult to find in Spain and expensive!). Classical Rioja wines is another good option. Ah, these humid underbrush notes in the nose...
