Ver mensaje de rayolMmmm, only one bottle, if you’re thinking of a expensive wine ... probably Cirsion... and about the case, no doubt, the so-difficult to find Shiraz of Enrique Mendoza (some 10-11 € in Spain).

good wine. Ordered this in a restaurant in Madrid on a work trip recently and my two colleagues bought a half case the following day to bring home.
It’s strange (but good) that with the scarcity of the Mendoza shiraz the price stays so reasonable ?

Ver mensaje de rayolI agree, he is a definite outlier: here it is, this nice wine which is almost impossible to get, which dissapears in 15 days after release, a wine that everyone loves, and that consistently stays in approximately the same price ... it is an incredibly honest position, bassically alien these days, when prices are dictated by the avidity of the market, not the cost of the production ... I am in Love with Enrique Mendoza wines for many things, but one of them is this incredibly honest position ... and, darmn! it is so wonderful! (yesterday I had a perfect, round, glorious EM shiraz 2001 in a restaurant for 19 euros, so the restaurant was also being very honest ... in Madrid, in a very very nice otherwise wine bar, they were asking about 30 euros for this wine ... not so nice anymore)

Is the Mendoza Shiraz available only direct from the bodega or does he release it through merchants ?
