Could we criticize critics???

As far as I’ve seen NOPE. Somebody in the Spanish side has considered some ‘funny’ comments about Mr. Parker, in which we called him “big Bob” and “the Parker God” as a terrible insult. What do you think about? Do you really think such a comment as something that terrible ????

You can read about verema today in erobert parker!!!Also in his foro can critize verema for example...
I like Robert Parker and his opinions very much.

Answer...Absolutely. If you live in a glasshouse etc...
Fair reasoned criticism is healthy. Being ";anti-Parker"; just because he is influential or American is small minded and pathetic. I think he has done a lot to improve wine making.
I also believe he has had an affect on prices that I don’t much care for.
But the real fault is with the point chasers ,of which I was one until I grew up and decided to trust my palate not Parker points !
I saw the post on e-Bob and thought it to be an overreaction but then I don’t know how vitriolic the criticism was on the Spanish side of this site.

Yes, this thread is the cause of my posting... Some comments:
First, sorry I don’t like Robert Parker as I’m a heterosexual ;-))) and, in addition, I don’t know him....
Second, every winemaker ";liked"; his tasting notes (except if the score is low) but as I’m not a winemaker I tend to agree with him just in some cases... ;-))
