Happy New Year
Happy New Year
Ver mensaje de MaJesusTo all in this ";very very quiet"; verema side: Have a great night and a better year, with tons of wonderful wines (and friends and health). My wines for tonight:
Vinya Tondonia Bco GR 1981
Torre Muga 96
Aalto 2000
Pol Roger Brut Millesime 1998 for ";the grapes"; (we eat one grape with each last ";bell strike"; of the year)
For the wee hours, the sweets, the chat ... a super wonderful Toro Albala Don PX Reserva 1963 Electrico, and Casta Diva Cosecha Miel 2004.
Chat with you next year!

Re: Happy New Year...
Ver mensaje de rayolWonderful wishes, same to you! ... I drunk all the very nice wines that I had planned plus a wonderful Pierre Peters, plus pretty good food too ... there must be ages ever since I last went out to a ’real party’ on New Year’s Eve: I definitely prefer my home or my friends’ home. Have a great 2006!

And my last wine on 2005 was...
Ver mensaje de rayol’Tylenus Roble 2002’ Dark, full bodied, but no trace of oak in nose or mouth... maybe a bit, but it’s absolutely overwhelmed by tons of red and black fruit. It’s fruit, fruit and more fruit. I’ve really enjoyed it as cold winter wine.
Cheers,
Jose
P.S. Well... it has a lack of acidity, but, it’s absolutely enjoyable.
Re: And my last wine on 2005 was...
Ver mensaje de jose(Mmm, I think you’ve spelled wrong ;-)) I drunk one of this Tilenus a couple of weeks ago... I think that it was a ";mencia"; from this Cellar and is a wine quite interesting.... I love Mencia!
You’re right ;) It’s Tilenus, not Tylenus..
Ver mensaje de Paco HigónYou know how absent minded I’m and yesterday night I saw the empty bottle and the label with I not Y... 8-)
It’s been my first Mencia wine and I’ve really enjoyed it. Absolutely fruity!
Cheers,
Jose
