Senderens and is anything changing?
Senderens and is anything changing?
Ver mensaje de joseHi all,
after reading this article

it makes me wonder whether something is changing or not.
In a sort of ’first we’ll take Manhatann and then we’ll take Berlin’, it makes me think that maybe (only maybe) the times where everything was going in a no-end race to be the top of... prices are reaching the end. In the last few years, no more than the last 5 years, I’ve seen how 20 EUR/U$A are the new 10 EUR/U$A. I’ve seen how some years ago a 30 EUR price was only for tops... not for newbies, but currently when you pay with a 50 note, they give you back the bottle, some coins and if you’re lucky, a thank-you-smile. And just for the first vintage... of a new winery, where ";at least"; they have the 300 % are new french oaks and the name of a famous consultant or flying wine maker is written in the label.
Well, do you think it’s the first movement to a price reduction in wine and restaurants?
Cheers,
Jose

Ver mensaje de joseThanks a lot Jose, a really nice posting. I’ll book a table on Senderens restaurant in my next trip to Paris ;-) Unfortunately only just a few not-very-famous restaurants have chosen the “cheap way”…. Let’s wait and hope for a similar restaurant movement here in Spain….
