How does malvar taste?

Hi all,
taking a look on shelves seems to be that there’s a grape variety autochthonous (arf, hard to write and pronounce this word! ;) from Madrid. Maybe the only autochthonous thing over here indeed!
Does anybody nows how does taste and smell the wines made with it?
