I think this wine is made from old vine Tempranillo and is one of the top cuvees of Faustino. A dark strawberry red, the nose showed sweet herbs, cooked plums, and was subtle yet enticing. The spices danced around delicately on the palate, leading to a very balanced and lingering finish. A classy wine that gained more sweetness to its fruit as the evening wore on.
