A good cork. Black cherry with high opacity. Despite having been decanted half an hour beforehand, the nose is initially very dominated by Mediterranean herbs and white glue (especially when the temperature is high). Every now and then, a more subtle, refined aroma with a predominance of black fruit. Much better nose in the Riedel Vinum Bordeaux glass than in the Tempranillo glass, which demonstrates an abundance of roasts. As it airs and fills the glass (lowering the temperature), the aroma grows in complexity and subtlety, with a wider range of balsam and refined black fruit. The mouth is tasty, quite fresh, with mature tannins, roasts and a slightly astringent finish but with good persistence (clear improvement with regard to the bottle drunk six months ago). After 24 hours, I found the drop left in the bottle to be more one-dimensional both in the mouth and on the nose, and I did miss a little acidity (the day before I found it fresher). A very chameleonic wine, with a double Mediterranean-Ribera personality. To be tasted again in a few months' time to see which way it goes. At the moment, it shows potential and is growing in the bottle.
