Lalomba Finca Valhonta

Full bodied, black cherry in colour, long, fat glycerinous legs.

Very nice nose, seemingly  classic 'riojan.' Mature fruit, black fruit (plum and blackcurrant), some red fruit, lots of notes from the malolactic fermentation and subsequent ageing. Balsamic notes, spice, clove and vanilla.

In the mout you note the volume on entry. Very smooth, balanced with everthing in the right place, elegant, with milk chocolate, excellent structure and a fresh, full finish.
