The first of a sequence of wines selected by Terry Theise and imported by Michael Skurnik. Comes in a liter bottle, for those of us who like to indulge in that liiiiittle bit extra. At first, the nose is very shy. Faint hints of citrus and peach nectar, with a vague hint of white flowers... In the mouth it’s simple, sweetish stuff. I leave it for a couple of days in the fridge and it turns into a different story altogether. The aromas are more forward and, in the mouth, it’s full of peach, Meyer lemon, lime, grapefruit and chalky minerality. Off-dry in a minor way, with very good length and mouthwatering acidity at its core. Quite nice.
