This is a $9.99 "basic" Veltliner by Hirsch. Hardly believable, after all these years, that the grape can be vinified to 11.5%. The wine is light, but very tasty. Pear, peach and lime on the nose, with a vague spiciness and something custardy. Same in the mouth. A bit short, but clean and fresh.
