I have to thank Nigel for setting up the mini vertical of La Chapelle for us to try. The dark strawberry red shows a light pink rim. Some sous bois and red cherry on the nose. It seemed to me very different on the palate, with ripe red plum fruit showing a balanced mid palate and noticeable tannic structure. An enjoyable wine with at least another five years of life left in it.
