A dark amber colour, the nose was pure tobacco and brioche. Rich apricot sweetness to start with, then a bracing level of acidity kicks in to last the palate and leave a fresh finish. Not complex for me and also showed signs of flinty/wet cave floor. Mostly hollow on the mid palate and the finish did show some dried fruit characteristics.
