Best Spanish gewurz….
Best Spanish gewurz….
Ver mensaje de Paco HigónI’ve recently tried Pirineos, Viñas del Vero & Luna Beberide gewurz however I prefer the Alsatian “profile”. But if I have to chose between the Spaniards, Luna Beneride is IMHO the best. Which of this (or other Spanish gewurz) do you prefer???
I do prefer Viñas del Vero...
Ver mensaje de Paco HigónOver Luna Beberide. I don’t have drank the others. Anyhow, as I’ve told sometimes here and there, I used to drink Viñas del Vero Gewürz when I began to drink wine, about 5-6 years ago. The price was from 5-7 EUR, nowadays, the prices have been increasing every year (not only this I mean every wine), so now the price gap between spanish gewürz and the real one (Alsatian) has almost disappear... so do the math! I’ve jump over the Alsatian way of life, and ditto on Chardonnay and any wine you can imagine.
Cheers,
Jose
Re: I do prefer Viñas del Vero...
Ver mensaje de joseDoesn’t the world have more than enough Gewurtz already? :-)
Re: I do prefer Viñas del Vero...
Ver mensaje de suikoBut the Spanish production of gewurz is quite small…. I am rather worried with the chardonnay invasion ;-)))
Re: I do prefer Viñas del Vero...
Ver mensaje de Paco HigónYes... that’s the same everywhere tho, isn’t it? Have you joined the ABC club then, Paco?
Re: What does ‘abc’ stand for? ;-)
Ver mensaje de suikoHeheee, that’s funny…. No, well, not yet…. I do like the results of chardonnay in Chablis and Champagne ;-)))
