The deepest punt I have ever seen on a bottle of wine! 100% Syrah, opaque purple plum. The nose really was all about the fight between the overripe dark plums and the vanilla oak. A couple of sips later and I discovered bags of overripe dark fruits, high acid and hot alcohol that scorched my tongue. At this young stage, I found it unbalanced but I did hear comments to suggest that this was not a good showing for this particular bottle. Not rated.
