This was my mystery dry white wine. I had visited the winery in February 2004 and tried this wine for the first time. It had made an impression on me as a light aperitif wine with hints of pear and walnut on the nose and palate. This would be a chance to see what others would think of it, but I served it double blind.

A bright yellow, with a hint of pear and sweetness on the nose. My first sip revealed that it was a touch too warm. It was off-dry, some alcohol showed, tasted dilute and was disjointed. Not sure if it was a combination of the travelling, served too warm and maybe a funny bottle, but this showed nowhere near as nice as when I last tried it. Sorry guys. Not rated.
