This wine is made from premium lots of older vine shiraz. Straight out of the bottle, 14% alcohol. Dark red, with lots of leather and eucalyptus. Sweet red fruit try and impress my tongue and they nearly succeed, but the oak is a minor distraction. This would have benefited from about 30 minutes of decanting time, as the bottle I drank in April showed better once it had opened up.
