From well drained limestone and clay soils with lots of river stones.

Brambly red just tending to a terracotta edge. Medium to full density. Good long legs.

Lots of black fruit on the nose with a hint of brambles ( blackberries ) and raspberries. Fresh.

In the mouth black fruits of the forest, hints of terroir ( stone) but nice body and a good long fruity finish. I was expecting a lean finish but there is much more life in this wine yet.
