Black cherry with a violet edge. Intense nose which opens with light touches of animal fur, minerals, damp earth on a backdrop of black fruit. A good attack, with a warm mouth, appropriate acidity and good persistence. Slightly bitter finish. The nose comes and goes with subtle notes of nuts and an initial touch of ethyl acetate. It has come on quite a lot since the last time I tasted it. It is very advisable to decant it at least one hour before drinking and to serve it at a temperature of around 17º.
