GRAPE and COUNTRY
Chardonnay from the North Island in NZ. Adapted to the mineral and stony soil. High acidity, fruity ( apple, lima), with notes from the typical terroir. Involved, with a delightful flavour in your mouth. The wine let you in the palate, one pick of a very special stone, orange skin (bitter) and green garden. So, it´s a wine more oceanic than NAPA, and minus baked than Australia.
It´s a wine with soul of France (Chablis, Burgundy...)
TASTING
White wine, yellow-green colour, cleany, without re-fermentation notes into the bottle and brilliant. Low intensity. good legs in the wall of the glass. Bottle with a whole info.
Aroma: Pronunciated condition, intense, and very clean, oceanic and stony (petreus), smog. There is evolution yet.
In mouth, flavours full of fruit and acidity, stones at least.
This wine is similar to a very good Mersault.
