Vinification: Fermentation happens
without the addition of external yeast, we
only let the natural yeast to do their
fermentation themselves. We keep the
temperature between 26 and 28°C
maximum and the following maceration is
of about 10 days in stainsteel tanks.
Aging: 30 months of aging in Slavonian
oak casks by 30, 40 and 60 HL.
COMENT
A stylish red wine from a little village: Montalcino , south from Siena, inside the Toscana countryside, and very fresh in summer. Highly recommended.
Red ( tawny color, pale), clean
Nose clean, impressive, pronounced. Tertiary and a primary surprise: red cherry, black plum, cocoa, dark liquorice, brandy, marrasquino. large and silky aromas.
In my mouth is pure feeling and grassy tannins, dry, alcohol +++ good integrated, high tannins ( mouth feeling) and a mouthcoating wine. Pronounced and with long finish. Dark berries, liquorice, dark cocoa, juicy ( smily belly), red cherries, some minty flavours, minerality.
