Dark plum purple, the nose was ripe with black fruits like blackcurrants. Tasting was very different, with a very young, tight power palate showing good acidity. Ripe and drying tannins with the dark forest fruits to mean show that this wine needs time to fully resolve itself, although the key elements are in place.
