Double decanted five hours in advance. Bold strawberry red with a pink rim. The nose certainly opened up with decanting, and I found ripe dates and walnuts with a little alcohol. Sweet, ripe prunes, spicy but with a touch of hot alcohol on the finish, the length is certainly pleasant, tailing off after a few waves of entertainment. Although it was enjoyable, I have tasted marginally better bottles.
