A medium strawberry with a pomegranate pink rim. Soft dates with fine ground coffee and plain chocolate wafting from the glass. The palate starts positively, then after a couple of seconds waves of powerful, fig fruit launch themselves against my taste buds. A little hot alcohol blended in with roasted chestnuts on the finish but still very warming. This was a youthful bottle, relatively speaking.
