This single vineyard Shiraz was decanted shortly before we drank it and the label showed 12.4% alcohol. Dark cherry red with a red hue on the rim. The nose of spices like cinnamon, some leather and eucalyptus. The palate was retrained with a long velvet mouthfeel, a few waves of spicy and mature fruit and a long finish. For my palate, this is drinking beautifully now and will not gain from further bottle age.
