Decanted at least an hour ahead and this wine is a blend of 50% Syrah, 30% Mouvedre and 20% Cinsault. Opaque cherry red with peanut butter, bonfire smoke and a dash of new oak. Velvet mouthfeel for a few seconds that lull you into a false sense of security. A tight dark fruit core with some drying tannins then appears with a kick of acidity. Long length, still young.
