This estate has made some stunning wines in recent times, the 2001 vintage of this wine being an example. It is always good to try an older version to see the development that has taken place. Dark strawberry (14%). Focused herbs and cooked vegetables with some maturing plum fruit. Full bodied on the palate with several waves of dry red fruits and a long length. This wine is drinkable now and is impressive.
