Deep amber with a deep yellow and hint of green on the rim. A few sniffs revealed very ripe peaches, quince and marmalade. A couple of sips later, I was enjoying the luscious liquid apricots and marmalade, with a tangy mid palate and drying finish. A hint of hot alcohol hit the back of my throat at the end of the finish. It had less mid palate power and length then the last bottle I drank about four years ago, so I think it is gently starting to fade, though it should be good for a few more years.
