Opaque dark purple. A huge nose of cooked meats, black fruits and a depth of schist soil. The palate is also massively concentrated, with waves of tight dark fruits, tight tannins and a massive length that goes on for a very long time. There is reasonable acidity in the background. This wine is still so young from this bottle. I have tried more evolved bottles that hint at its potential and it will be worth the wait. An outstanding wine.
